How BacklinkView handles account, backlink monitoring, subscription, payment, and technical information.

This policy explains how BacklinkView handles personal information when you use our website, backlink management workspace, monitoring features, subscriptions, and support. Contact the BacklinkView Team at [email protected] about privacy or your data.
Account information: name, email address, profile image, authentication identifiers, email-verification state, account security information, and policy-acceptance records where collected during registration.
Workspace and monitoring information: website details, private backlink records, submission status and notes, source and target URLs, observed link text and attributes, check results, and check timestamps. Public Product Pages use shared domain information; your private records and subscription details are not included.
Subscription information: trial dates, selected plan, billing interval, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, renewal-period dates, and checkout references. Stripe processes payment card details; BacklinkView does not store your full card number.
Support and historical orders: messages you send to support and information needed to handle existing placement orders, delivery obligations, disputes, and refunds. Closing new service sales does not erase historical order records.
Technical information: IP addresses, browser and device information, session cookies, request logs, abuse-prevention signals, and diagnostic information. Optional newsletter subscriptions are separate from transactional account and monitoring emails.
We use this information to authenticate accounts, provide the workspace, check URLs you submit, send link-change alerts, enforce plan allowances, manage payments, provide support, prevent abuse, and operate the service.
When checking a source URL, our server contacts that external website. Its operator may receive the requested URL and our server's IP address and user agent. Do not submit private URLs containing access tokens or information you are not authorized to share.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, or legal obligations as appropriate.
BacklinkView uses service providers for hosting and delivery, including Vercel, database hosting, Cloudflare object storage and delivery, Stripe payments and subscriptions, Resend email delivery, and configured authentication or abuse-prevention providers such as Google sign-in and Cloudflare Turnstile.
Third-party domain-metric providers may receive the domain being queried. Those providers' measurements are distinct from your private notes and billing records. Providers process information under their applicable agreements and privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the service, resolve disputes, or carry out a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
Essential cookies maintain authentication and security. Browser storage may remember interface preferences such as light or dark mode. Optional analytics or marketing features, when enabled, should be governed by the choices presented to you.
Monitoring alerts and billing messages are transactional. You can pause individual monitored links to stop their checks and related change alerts. Newsletter choices are handled separately.
Canceling a subscription stops renewal; it does not delete your account. When trial or paid access expires, automatic monitoring pauses and existing records remain available to view and export.
We retain information while needed to provide the service, maintain an account, satisfy accounting or legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect against fraud. Backup and service-provider copies may persist for their applicable retention periods. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup.
Use account settings or contact support to request account deletion. Resolve an active subscription before deleting the account so billing is not left running. Some transaction and legal records may need to be retained.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a supervisory authority. Contact us with your request; we may verify your identity and apply legally required exceptions.
We use access controls and other technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information outside your country; applicable contractual and legal safeguards govern those transfers.
BacklinkView is intended for adults managing websites and is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
We may update this policy as the service changes. We publish the revised effective date and provide additional notice where required.
