Terms of Service

Review terms for the BacklinkView Workspace and one-time Managed Services, including orders, payments, delivery, refunds, warranties, and acceptable-use rules.

2026/09/05

Editorial review by BacklinkView.

Effective date: September 5, 2026

1. Who is BacklinkView, and when do these Terms apply?

BacklinkView ("BacklinkView," "we," "us," or "our") provides the BacklinkView website, Workspace, Managed Services, and related features (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Services.

Who can agree to these Terms?

By creating an account through email registration, placing an Order, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.

The Services are offered broadly to customers who can access the applicable Checkout, subject to applicable law, payment availability, publisher requirements, and our right to decline an Order under these Terms.

2. What is included in the BacklinkView Workspace?

Every BacklinkView account uses the same no-cost Workspace. The Workspace lets you manage Products and private Backlink Records, including supported domain and traffic tracking. It is not a Free, Pro, Lifetime, trial, or other account plan, and there is no subscription upgrade path.

We may apply reasonable internal limits to prevent abuse and protect service reliability. We may restrict automated, abusive, unlawful, or harmful activity.

3. How do Managed Services and Orders work?

Managed Services are optional, one-time services for a Directory Listing, Link Insertion, Guest Post, or another placement expressly described in a Service Offer. They are not subscriptions, credits, advertising accounts, or promises of search performance.

An Order applies to one selected Product and may include multiple Service Offers. Before payment, review the service type, available resource information, price, currency, delivery estimate, required materials, and any stated restrictions. When Checkout is created, BacklinkView records the price, currency, service type, delivery estimate, and material requirements used for that purchase. Later changes to a Service Offer do not change those recorded Order details.

When is an Order accepted?

An Order is accepted after payment is successfully confirmed. We may decline or stop an Order that is unlawful, unsafe, technically impossible, affected by an obvious pricing error, incompatible with a publisher's rules, or otherwise cannot reasonably be fulfilled. Any refund or alternative arrangement will be coordinated by email under these Terms.

4. How do prices, payments, taxes, and receipts work?

Prices and currency are shown before payment. Managed Service payments are processed by Stripe. BacklinkView does not receive or store your full payment-card number, and Stripe's terms and privacy practices apply to its processing. Stripe publishes the terms governing its services on the Stripe Legal page.

Applicable taxes or duties are handled as shown during Checkout or as required by law. You remain responsible for charges that applicable law assigns to you. Stripe provides payment confirmation or a receipt. Contact [email protected] about any additional commercial documentation that may be available.

5. What customer materials are required?

You must provide complete and accurate materials reasonably required for each purchased service. Product-wide materials may be provided once for an Order, while a Service Offer may require additional item-specific materials.

  • Directory Listings generally require a Product URL, name, description, category, and usable logo.
  • Link Insertions generally require a target URL, preferred anchor text, and contextual guidance.
  • Guest Posts generally require a target URL, preferred anchor text, accurate brand facts, and acceptable topic guidance.

What content is not accepted?

You represent that you own or have permission to use submitted materials, that your claims are accurate and not misleading, and that your materials and destination pages comply with applicable law, these Terms, and publisher rules.

You may not submit illegal goods or services, fraud, malware, phishing, intellectual-property infringement, adult sexual content, gambling, illegal drugs, weapons, hate or extremist content, or content prohibited by the applicable publisher. We may reject or request changes to unsafe, unlawful, misleading, or publisher-ineligible materials.

You authorize reasonable edits for grammar, clarity, formatting, publisher style, and placement fit. Original long-form writing is included only when the purchased Service Offer expressly says so.

6. How are materials reviewed and delivery estimates calculated?

After payment, you may save draft materials and submit them for review. Submitted materials are locked while under review. We may accept the submitted revision or request changes with an explanation.

The delivery estimate begins when payment has succeeded and BacklinkView accepts the required materials. Starting work is a separate operational step. Delivery dates are estimates, not guaranteed deadlines.

If the expected date changes, we may record a reason and revised expected date in your Order and notify you by email. When we are waiting for corrected or additional customer materials, work may remain paused until usable materials are submitted and accepted.

7. When is a Managed Service Order Item complete?

An Order Item is completed only when BacklinkView records the delivery details appropriate to its service:

  • Directory Listing: public result URL and publication date.
  • Link Insertion: result URL, verified target URL, delivered anchor text, and publication date.
  • Guest Post: public article URL, article title, and publication date.

Can completed delivery details be changed?

Recorded delivery details are locked against ordinary editing. If BacklinkView needs to correct a completed result, an administrator must first reopen completion and record an internal reason. Saving an eligible completed result to My Backlinks remains a separate customer action.

8. How are failures, cancellations, and refunds handled?

The website does not provide a self-service cancellation, refund, replacement, or warranty-claim form. Contact [email protected] to discuss an Order. We may ask for your Order ID and other information needed to review the request.

If an item cannot be completed as planned, the Order will show a customer-safe explanation. BacklinkView and the customer may coordinate the next step by email. Depending on the circumstances, BacklinkView may continue handling the item, arrange an alternative outside the website, refund the full affected Order Item, or refund the full remaining refundable Order balance.

How are agreed refunds processed?

Refunds are performed outside the BacklinkView website through Stripe and returned using the payment method and processing path made available by Stripe. The Order may show Refund pending while an agreed refund is being handled. After the refund has been completed externally, BacklinkView may record the Stripe Refund ID, amount, currency, effective time, reason, and affected scope in the Order.

BacklinkView supports whole-item refunds and a refund of the full remaining refundable Order balance. It does not promise arbitrary partial refunds within a single Order Item. Completed items and their delivery records remain part of a mixed-result Order when another item is refunded.

Nothing in these Terms limits a non-waivable right or remedy provided by applicable law.

9. What does the 90-day link warranty cover?

For 90 calendar days from the recorded publication date, BacklinkView warrants that a delivered placement will remain publicly reachable and materially match the placement specifications expressly recorded for the Order.

To report a problem, email [email protected] with the Order ID and affected result. BacklinkView may investigate and coordinate restoration, an alternative arrangement, or a refund by email. The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances, publisher availability, and applicable law.

What is excluded from the warranty?

The warranty does not cover customer-caused destination failures, customer-requested changes, unlawful or policy-violating content discovered after delivery, events outside reasonable control, or characteristics that were not part of the purchased service.

10. Does BacklinkView guarantee SEO or business outcomes?

BacklinkView guarantees only the deliverable expressly described for the purchased Service Offer and the limited warranty above. We do not guarantee indexing, SEO ranking, traffic, domain-rating or authority metrics, leads, sales, continued search inclusion, or outcomes affected by publishers, search engines, or third-party algorithms.

Dofollow, nofollow, sponsored attributes, exact anchor text, page position, or indexing are promised only when the applicable Service Offer expressly includes them.

Google similarly explains in its Search Essentials that meeting technical requirements and best practices does not guarantee crawling, indexing, or search visibility.

“Google doesn't guarantee that it will crawl, index, or serve your page, even if your page follows the Google Search Essentials.” — Google Search Central

11. What license does BacklinkView receive for customer content?

You retain ownership of your materials. You grant BacklinkView a limited, non-exclusive license to review, edit, host, transmit, and use those materials only as reasonably needed to operate the Workspace, deliver the purchased service, present delivery results, provide support, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes.

12. Who owns BacklinkView intellectual property?

The BacklinkView website, software, branding, and original content are owned by BacklinkView or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of BacklinkView technology or branding to you.

13. When can access be suspended or terminated?

The Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We may update, suspend, or discontinue a feature, and we may restrict or terminate access for unlawful use, security risk, material breach, non-payment, abuse, or conduct that harms BacklinkView, publishers, or other users.

Termination does not erase obligations or records that reasonably must remain for payment, service delivery, refunds, fraud prevention, warranties, disputes, or legal compliance.

14. Which disclaimers and liability limits apply?

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BacklinkView will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, rankings, traffic, or business opportunities. BacklinkView's aggregate liability arising from a paid Order will not exceed the amount paid to BacklinkView for the affected Order, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation.

15. How can these Terms change?

We may update these Terms prospectively. The current version and effective date will be posted here. Material changes apply as required by applicable law. The commercial facts recorded for an existing Order remain the basis for delivering the service unless the parties agree otherwise or mandatory law requires a different result.

16. Which laws apply, and how are disputes handled?

These Terms are interpreted subject to the laws and courts that validly apply to BacklinkView and the customer. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so the parties can attempt to resolve the matter informally. Mandatory consumer, privacy, or other legal protections remain unaffected.

17. How can you contact BacklinkView about these Terms?

For questions about these Terms or a Managed Service Order, contact the BacklinkView Team at [email protected]. We aim to provide an initial response within two business days, but this is not a guaranteed resolution time.
